Resumen
In 1963 the company Cristalería Española deciced to start building near Madrid, choosing Azuqueca de Henares, a small agricultural town of Guadalajara, next to prosperous Corredor del Henares. The building of an industry of this distinction was an important challenge for managers and required the need to recolocate all the new workers in the area. The company took on this responsibility, attending all the needs of the employees and including facilities, leisure centres, supermarkets, etc.The company counted with the colaboration of architects who began to build in Madrid, as Rafael de la Joya, Manuel Barbero Rebolledo, Manuel Aymerich and others, and with the criteria and participation of the Obra Sindical del Hogar. These projetcs were designed with a clear inspiration from the Modern Movement and the houses were organized in hierarchy, showing the budget made by the board of the factory.
