La contribución del turismo al crecimiento económico

Resumen

En este artículo se presenta una metodología para medir la contribución del turismo al crecimiento económico. Ésta consiste en el desglose del crecimiento económico generado por el turismo y el crecimiento económico generado por el resto de las actividades económicas. Después el método se aplica al caso de España, Francia, Italia, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos y los resultados se comparan con los de algunos países de América Latina.
