Zusammenfassung

This paper presents freely available materials (http://biomodel.uah.es) that can be used by secondary school / high school teachers in order to support, facilitate and reinforce their work in the classroom, as well as to build learning activities for their students. Topics where the support with these materials provides more significant value are apprehension of three-dimensional structure of (bio)molecules, animations demonstrating biological processes that evolve in space and time, and the use of virtual laboratories or simulations to illustrate laboratory techniques.
