Abstract
In late II century B. C. the so called hellenistic dramatizacing Historiography was fashioning the most famous latin historians. These hellenistic Histories used long digressions about Geography and Ethnography. In this article is studied a lot of Latin historians whose works, usually fragmentary transmitted, included digressions of this kind, specially about the African Land.
