Abstract

Most Occupational Therapists (OT) working in the Mental Health Centers (MHC) of the Community of Madrid develop their work in day-centers or day-hospitalization programs (sometimes located within the same MHC), with both a differential team and working model. The Mental Health Center "San Blas" has set up a new project called Multipurpose Resource and Therapies Center (CRTP). This article aims to expose the operational model of CRTP, and the role that Occupational Therapist plays in it: what is the need for inclusion of the OT as a referential figure in CRTP project; what is the context in which the program is implemented; and what are the specific subprograms in which the therapist is involved in.
