This paper analyzes de protection of third-party purchasers in the Council Regulation (EC) 1346/2000 on Insolvency Proceedings in the light of a judgment of the Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the European Commission’s proposal to modernise Europe’s rules on cross-border insolvency.
