Resum
Within the framework of a wide-ranging study undertaken over several years, a working group called “Dogmengesichte der Betriebswirtschaftslehre”, belonging to the German Association of Professors of Economy of the Business has researched into the post development of knowledge of Economy of the Business (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) in all German-speaking countries. The project has examined its complete doctrinal development over the last century, establishing those characteristics that affect knowledge of “Economy of the Business” as a Science, both in its theoretical development and its influence in business development. Not only are its origins and specific developments highlighted, but also its great influence as differentiated from development in the Englishspeaking world is highlighted as well. These are considerations that lead to different ways of understanding Central European Economic processes, different ways of designing, directing and setting into motion Business Institutions and specifically the role of the individual within the organisation. And it has extended its influence into different Cultures – Japan and Korea for example. Its international dimension was of great significance in the 20th century. Within this context is situated the present contribution concerning the influence of Central European thinking – itself influenced by German thinking in the development of the Spanish “Economy of the Business”, both in terms of its influence in Spanish Economic Order and in terms of its repercussion in the Spanish economic culture.
