Abstract
The translation of cultural elements, or culturemes, represents one of the main challenges in the translation of tourist texts. In this study, we will carry out a trilingual comparative analysis (Spanish, English and French) of the digital tourist guide Cultura en España, published by The Spanish Institute of Tourism. The aim of this paper is to examine the presence and treatment of these culturemes, focusing on the techniques and strategies applied in their translation from Spanish into English and French.
