Resumo

In the approach of the European Higher Education focused on student learning process based on skills is necessary to analyze, among others, critical thinking generic competency for its relevance in the academic and professional future. This competency involves mental behavior questions things and ideas, and it´s interested in the foundations on which these ideas, decisions and actions are settled. It is important to promote this competency for students to be critical of their own contributions, decisions and interpretations of the peers arguments. This study aims to analyze how the students identify the competitive acquisition of critical thinking through different teaching methods courses taught in different Degrees in Physiotherapy and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. It is necessary to do further studies to determine which teaching methods and evaluation systems are more appropriate to courses and degree programs to encourage the development of this competency, but the fact of carrying out self-assessment and peer assessment helps the acquisition thereof.
