Resumo
This work analyses the teaching tensions of three teachers after implementing a STEAM project in the 4th grade of Elementary Education. A focus group and the content analysis of the debate are carried out in terms of affective, curricular, structural, methodological, and professional challenges. The results indicate a predominance of interactions of structural aspects –such as resources– with other aspects, and of methodological ones with each other. In addition to specific tensions on STEAM, the project entails the typical difficulties of active teaching and learning strategies.
