Resumen
Multifocal visual evoked potentials (mfVEp) are known for the electrical response of the occipital lobe generated by the stimulation of the central visual field, providing an objective and reproducible measurement of the function of the optic pathway. For this reason, this technique is widely used for the diagnosis of optic neuropathies, including multiple sclerosis. this article proposes the development of an entropy-based signal analysis method that improves discrimination between signal and noise. its applicability in the clinical practice and obtain signals of better quality that allow to obtain a more reliable diagnosis.
