Resumen

Estudios recientes parecen indicar que los programas de Aprendizaje Integrado de Lengua y Contenidos (AICLE) pueden mitigar el impacto que el nivel socioeconómico tiene en el rendimiento académico. Este artículo revisa dos de estos estudios y ofrece tres posibles explicaciones de este efecto inesperado de la enseñanza bilingüe.
