Abstract
Lexical homonymy (either homonyms, homophones or homographs) is often a linguistic process which causes confusión. The ambiguity created by homonymy is easily solved by the context. However, that may not be sufficient to foreign language students, as they may not understand every single element of a given speech act, either in the spoken chain or in a written text. The present paper intends to deal with the problem from a theoretical point of view and show different ideas and practical exercises to work in this field in an attractive and unconventional way. It also tries students to get involved in collecting material in their own language.
