Abstract

Condilar hiperplasia is an infrecuent acquired pathologic of the mandibular development, with unkonw ethiology and a characteristic lower face deformity indlucy oclusal and temporomandibular joint disorders. We review the bibliography and our experience in this Tepic. We present seven treated by jeans of orthodontic and surgical procedurers like hig condilectomy and disc repositioning with a complete radiologic exploration (Ortopantomography, lateral craneal teleradiography with cefalometry, and a proper occlusion is achieved without symptoms of TMJ derangement. Surgical and simultaneous orthodontic treatment is an adecuate and established treatment for condilar hiperplasia
