Resum

We proudly present you SESIR, an innovative evaluation service of manual propelled wheelchairs, developed in cooperation with the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia, the Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos de Toledo, center dependent on the SESCAM (Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha) and the Fundación del Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos para la Investigación y la Integración. SESIR is a service based in both physical-mechanical tests and functional tests with end-users. Globally, it covers the expectations of all agents involved in the production, distribution, adaptation, medical prescription and purchase of this type of sanitary products. In this mode SESIR contributes improving to life quality of these persons that need this assistive technology for their mobility.
