Abstract
En este estudio se analiza el perfil de la pobreza de los jóvenes en España desde un punto de vista multidimensional. El enfoque adoptado se concreta en la estimación del riesgo de pobreza, tres indicadores de privación material (vivienda, retrasos en pagos y carencias materiales) y uno de exclusión educativa, sobre una muestra de jóvenes extraída de la Encuesta de Condiciones de Vida (ECV). La metodología utilizada consiste en modelos de elección discreta y de recuento. Entre los resultados más relevantes destaca la importancia de la composición del hogar, el nivel educativo y la situación en el mercado de trabajo del joven y otras características como la discapacidad y la nacionalidad en la determinación del riesgo de pobreza, privación material y exclusión educativa.
