Abstract

After the broader scope given by the Treaty of Lisbon to the locus standi of individuals in the annulment action, the Court of Justice confirms in its sentence the validity of the TWD jurisprudence, stressing the importance of proving that the appeal against the Court was manifestly admissible in order for this doctrine to produce effects. Moreover, the Court considers that the EU anti-terrorism rules do not preclude the activities of armed forces in the period of armed conflict, within the meaning of international humanitarian law, from being acts of terrorism and considers that this interpretation is consistent with international law.
