Resumo

The analysis about the effects produced by seismic actions in the masonry structures of the heritage historic buildings are aimed to the understanding of his structural behaviour because of earthquakes evaluating the damage which was produced in the structures mainly in churches. On the context of seismic vulnerability which comes from the studios of damages after an earthquake. The methodology of the macroelements is used which is described as a apart of the distinguished church by a seismic answer autonomous enough respect to other parts of the structure after a seismic event. Collapse mechanisms are identified and joined to each one and base on recent cases as Lorca earthquake in 2011 and its effects on the Historic artist buildings directed mainly to affected churches. The process of analysis is carried out with determination of every macroelements. The analysis in an independent way of each one of them, the description of damage observed on every element. The description of the scheme of mechanism damage which shows the effects and realization of a graphic analysis of them. This methodology trough the study of the damage patterns. It is useful for its interpretation of damages as to predict the future of seismic behaviour in the masonry structures by analogy to real behaviour observed on similar cases and to carry out possible repairing interventions.
