Abstract

The objective of this analysis is to verify the existence of non monetary benefits of education on the individuals labour degree of satisfaction. To know if the education impacts in the satisfaction with the work beyond the effect that can have the greater levels of income (monetary effect). To reach this purpose, empirical analysis contrasts the not monetary existence of effects of the education on the degrees of satisfaction with the work and with specific levels of satisfaction with others specific labour aspects. The studied labour components are the income, stability, type of work, labour day, schedule, labour/environmental conditions, and distance and communication at the work. The degrees of satisfaction with the first three aspects represent the assembly of satisfactions or rewards of the individual by working, while the remainder degrees of satisfaction with the others components represent the labour effort or prices that the individual has to carry out. To obtain a conclusive empirical evidence of the effects of the education on the labour degree of satisfaction, in this study is analized jointly the effect of the education with the perception of the worker on the adjustment formation/employment on the global degree of satisfaction with the work and with the diverse specific labour aspects of the work. The analysis is carried out with ordered models logit.
