In Spain the ICT Sector, is immersed in a process of transforming, a certain changing users consumption patterns, demanding more a more faster and variety of content and applications. All of this means that all ICT sectors involved such as the operators, the software applications developers and consultancy, the manufacturers and the traders, have all had to adapt and radically changing their competitive structures and strategies in order to survival in a global world. In order to undertake this adaptation process, it is necessary the companies to know on priority, around action on the key factors, in order to improve relevant results on the company's growth and competitiveness. It is for this reason that it is necessary to produce studies and discussions for understanding of how the Spanish ICT´s companies can to adapt to them changes. This is the fundamental objective of the doctoral thesis: “Impact analyses of the growth and competitiveness factors in the ICT´s companies in Spain”. On the face of it, and on the basis the proposed objective, it was considered interesting to written consultation of the a professional group, in particular 32 managers, who are knowledgeable of what is happening in the ICT sector, and the managers have been selected on your assessments to serve as a basis to produce a first and exhaustive qualitative analysis, in accordance with Chapter 4, where we have carefully analyzed 25 variables through which we have analyzed for various factors that affect the companies. In This analysis, too we have observed of first-hand the problem, strengths opportunities and threats facing the Spanish ICT´s companies today. In addition, the research has sustained by a second quantitative analysis. For that, information was gathered on adequate and representative sample out of a total of 256 companies belonging to the several ICT activity subsectors, by on-line platform, in order to subsequently apply the different statistical techniques that have enabled us to corroborate and verify the information gathered in qualitative phase. The variables used during this phase were 3 control variables, 40 profile variables, 25 overall assessment variables and 12 economic and financial results variables, as shown in the chapter 5. As soon as the results compared in the two phases of the research that has been conducted, we saw that there are many and the very different in nature, the factors that have a bearing on this study, we have called as “ICT sustained growth”, distinguishing between internal factors on the companies themselves , industry factors and environmental factors.
