Abstract

The number of Spanish students enrolled in science and technology pathways is below EU average, which could be a strategic disadvantage of Spain in the 4th Industrial Revolution. The interest towards Science can be promoted within students at early age. At this stage of life, the pupils show greater interest in Science. In this paper we show a proposal to transform the Primary Education curriculum for Natural Science subject into workshops based on inquiry-based science education, within an afterschool program called Science Club.
