Abstract

The main results of the research project "Cabinetmaking in the monastery of El Escorial: 16th and 17th centuries" (HAR2008-02605) are published in this communication. In this project, the main furniture sets held at the monastery were studied, of which the following are still preserved: cabinets and drawers of the sacristy, choir stalls and choir books cabinets of the main church, and bookstores of the library.
