Zusammenfassung
This article studies the employment mobility of Spanish women and the influence exerted on them by family variables. To this end, we study the data offered by the longitudinal APS, which hasfeatures requiring a prior analysis of the problems raised to be carried out. Mobility is examined by meansof comparing the values of various indices in the case of men and women. We find that mobility has remainedfairly stable in Spain since 1994. As regards the influence of family variables, we confirm their importance, although we also observe that women increasingly opt for consolidating their employment position before getting married or having children.
