Abstract

The piecework is concerned with the characters educated at the Universities located in the Henares valley area, Sigüenza and Alcalá. These characters held high duties in the administrative structure of "Reino de Nueva Granada" as part of the enormous "virreinato del Perú". According to the external point of view, the knowledge of the origin and studies of those graduates means a new contribution to that great "American colonial administration graduates Dictionary". The aim of this dictionary is to determine in an affective way how many and who were students from Alcala who held high civil and ecclesiastical duties in America. This will provide, without doubt, the keys of the actual american projection of Alcala, configured as a historical reality, far away from the plain speculation
