Abstract

A phytosociological study of the rice fields that occur in marshes of Guadal-quivir river (Andalucía, Spain) is made. The phytosociological analysis is used to describe the communities-complex of that zone, and three news syntaxa (Beto maritimae-Rapistretum rugosi, Salsolo sodae-Atriplicetum chenopodioidis and Astero squamati-Panicetum repentis) are described for the first time according the International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature.
