Abstract

In this presentation we describe an experience developed in the frame of a collaboration between our university and a primary classroom in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). We have been working in a media and writing workshop where teachers, children and researchers collaborate to prepare a Web page ¿against violence¿ (http://espanol.geocities.com/noalaviolencia2002), including comments and drawings prepared by adults and children in relation to the TV programs. Two main assumptions are present in our work: first, the facts that that schools need to approach to social problems and, second, new literacies must to be learn at the schools; taking this starting point our workshop was designed and the process according to which it has been carried out will be presented in the paper.
