Abstract
Restoring GAUDÍ: from mimetic reconstruction to formal analogy without omitting harmonic diachrony: the last 25 years. How has Gaudi's work been restored? This is the question asked and answered by Javier Rivera, a professor of the Hostory of Restoration, in this article, in the light of the modern theory of "critical restoration" and the principles laid down in the Cracow Charter 2000. In the next few pages, there follows a detailed and critical descripcion of the restoration works carried out on the work of the Catalan maestro over the last twenty-five years.
