Abstract
This work analyses the canary islanders that studiented in the spanish Universities of Alcalá de Henares and Sigüenza in the Old Regime and his proyection in Hispanic America in the colonial period. In this context it studies first the model of CollegueUniversity and his development in San Antonio Portaceli and in the Alcalá University, and his extension to the Indies in Cuba, Santo Domingo and Venezuela. Later the conditions of this Collegues and Academys and finally the relation of this canary islanders schollars in Alcalá y Sigüenza Universities with his biography and his employments in Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula and Spanish America.
