¿Rimas anómalas en el "Auto de los Reyes Magos"?

Abstract

This work intends to study rhymes of the Auto de los Reyes Magos, the older drama written in Castilian, and represented, probably, in the cathedral of Toledo. As it is known. Lapesa considered erroneous rhymes 15-16 fembra : december, 38:39 escamo : carne; 40-41 mundo : redondo; 117-118 maior<... >: toma, and Lapesa explains these errors because the author was not Castilian, but French. Nevertheless, a prudent position forces to consider with precaution the existence of textual errors, also in the case of poetic texts. It is necessary to ask itself, therefore rhymes of the Auto de los Reyes Magos compríses of the poetic tradition to which this work belongs. In order to respond to this question it is necessary to examine rhyme in the Latin and romanic poetry of the Medieval Age.
