Résumé
There is a growing social demand to address the challenge of professional and personal balance. Essentially, the commitments of the Lisbon process are based on a significant increase in the active participation in the labour market and an improvement in labour productivity, and it will be possible, among others, if the harmonization between work and personal life happens. The aim of this article is to study how the Spanish firms deal with this issue, as stakeholders involved at the same time responsible for this new and important challenge that the Society and Spanish economy have to face with today
