Global warming is the first environmental problem that catches the attention of scientists, politicians and citizens. However, we often forget that we still live into a glaciation and the possibility of a new advance of the cryosphere is a natural hazard, as important as warming. A revision of the history of glaciations and glacial phases, and their causes, shows many questions still unanswered. A colder climate is still possible.
