Groundwater constitutes the mean subject of Hydrogeology. Basic concepts regarding the origin and presence of water in the subsoil, properties that determine both storage and circulation of the water in and through rock bodies and sediments, groundwater flow conditions, tools and elemental means used for the study and representation of the aquifers, groundwater resources exploitation possibilities and the physic- chemical characteristics of groundwater in the nature are broached in this text by means of some simple questions. The answer to these elemental questions is done so that anyone with a minimum knowledge about Earth Sciences can understand.
