Zusammenfassung
The aim of this paper is to analyze the role placed by familiar circumstances in labour participation decisions, comparing foreign and Spanish women and taking into account differences in characteristics. The knowledge of familiar characteristics and their influence on labour participation is needed to design and implement public policies to integrate foreign women and to eliminate inequalities. The data source is the 2008 Spanish Labour Force Survey (EPA).
