Résumé
In this article it is deepened in the life and work of the first three translators in Spain, as far we have found, of the works of Charles R. Darwin in Spain: the brigadier of the Navy Juan Nepomuceno de Vizcarrondo (1791-1861); the writer Joaquín María Bartrina (1850-1880); and the journalist Enrique Godínez y Esteban (1845-1894). So far little was known about Vizacarrondo and Godínez.
