Abstract

This paper is the result of a collaborative work by a group of researchers from Spain and Argentina. The key aim is trying to outline a preliminary analysis of the impact of global crisis on Latin America, to allow then not only the scope of action available to economic policymakers but also the necessary institutional redesign to prevent future repetition of the phenomenon or dampen its consequences.
