Zusammenfassung
In this paper we estimate a production function for the productive sectors using a stochastic frontier approach that allows us to include in the model's specification a random factor which enables us to define better the result of the activities in the production units. The analysis carried out in this case allows us to identify patterns of efficiency by sector for the regional aggregate, as well as estimate territorial efficiency for each of the productive sectors considered and for the productive aggregate. The results obtained show the existence of major inefficiencies in the production sectors, which furthermore exhibit a quite uneeven territorial distribution.
