Zusammenfassung
In the legal world there are an increasing number of references to equality in language, and legislation is no exception. This study focuses on many equality laws which contain such references and offers an analysis of their linguistic details on the basis of various regulatory dimensions. The study�s aim is to indicate the lack of clarity in some cases as well as to draw attention to some of the differences that exist between legislative texts. In the light of these developments, the study further indicates some possible repercussions of this state of affairs on the practical working out of linguistic equality.
