Zusammenfassung
The objective of this paper is to analyse business mobility within the different economic sectors, according to the Spanish National Classification of Economic Activities-93 (cnae-93) at one-digit level. Some stylised facts found are related to the following elements: The reverse relationship between business growth and business age; the increase of average relative size, within the different industries and cohorts, in terms of sales of new companies compared to those already established; the importance of initial size in enterprising activity; the favourable effects of economy in business growth; or the no concentration of property structure regarding a greater mobility.
