Resumo
It deals with the hipotheses in order to make the historical reconstruction and chronography of the facts through them Hiero of Siracus achives the destruction of Mamertine power in the NE of Sicily, and specially the battle at the river Longanus, the most important fact in the military biography of Hiero.
