Abstract
This paper proposes the use of complexity metrics to control all the software process. The ways of complexity metrics use in all the stages is presented: analysis, design, implementation, verification and maintenance. The aim is to improve software quality and reduce development and maintenance costs. The metrics used have diverse rigins and are well known in the domain of sofware complexity, but without an integral point of view like this.
