lntroduction: The purpose of this study is to show our experience about implantossuported prothesis rehabilitation on bony flaps in oral cancer patients with mandibular resection. Discussion: These patients present an aesthetic defect which is difficult to improve with conventional dental prothesis, because anatomic alterations existing after surgery. The use of microsurgical pedicle flaps has been an important advance in reconstructive techniques; likewise, osseointegrated implants have achieved notable improvement in masticatory function rehabilitation. Patients and Method: 51 patients with mandibular resection and several flaps reconstructions were rehabilitated with implantsuported prothesis. We used implants type Sustain hydroxyapatite covering Type implants. Results: The results allow to conclude that osseuos microvascular reconstruction give an excelent quality of life, that osseous integrated implants are the most rigid stabilization method for dental prothesis and that this is the only choice for these patients which can reach good results.
