Abstract

This provides 2.226 new records of bats from Madrid and Castilla La Mancha belonging to a total of 28 species. These results are primarily from surveys conducted between 1992 and 2013, covering a total of 2.278 UTM 10 x 10 km grids. The information previously published and the use of complementary methodologies allowed us to progress in the knowledge of discrete species and, generally, to extend the known range of most of the species in both communities as well as providing new data on different aspects of the bat species biology.
