La situación profesional, laboral y demográfica de los recursos humanos en la actividad física y el deporte en Españala población inmigrante

Abstract

This paper describes the professional situation of immigrants working in physical activity and sport in Spain. The methodology used was descriptive quantitative through survey. Data was collected through the use of a standardized validated questionnaire (PROAFIDE). The study obtained very poor representation of immigrants in occupations and specific jobs of physical activity and sport. The average age of the population is 35.84 years old and it is working mainly in Catalonia (26.6%), Andalusia (22%) and Madrid (11%). In addition, mostly they are working in private companies (69.4%). Due to the lack of studies that exist in Spain on this issue, could be the beginning of a topic of research in the field of physical activity and sport, in order to carry out actions to improve training and employment immigrant population in the area of physical activity and sport
