Abstract

Throughout the present work, an updated reflection is made on various issues that affect the quality of Humanitarian Action. Issues such as the training of aid professionals, the stress generated by the amount of time they remain in conflict zones, ethics in decision making, diversity of organizations and the need to search for a set of values Common. Issues such as the relationship between aid organizations and authoritarian governments, aid priorities in the field and who makes decisions; Whether stakeholders in affected countries are adequately involved in making decisions that affect them in the face of catastrophe, reluctance to military presence, use of aid for political purposes and organizations with hidden agendas. It also reflects on cases of corruption of Humanitarian Action and Cooperation for Development as a mechanism for the prevention of humanitarian crises, which has recently undergone a thorough review.
