Abstract

Abstract Assessment of nutritional status Nutrition disorders are very common in the patient with cancer. In addition to the high incidence of malnutrition in these patients, early nutritional intervention may improve prognosis, increase quality of life and decrease the rate of complications of the disease. We have different possibilities of nutrition therapy: dietary advice, medication, supplements and enteral or parenteral nutrition. Enteral nutrition Enteral nutrition is the administration of nutrients through the digestive tract, either through the oral, probes or catheters.
