Resumen

Abstract/Introduction Syncope is an entity that generates a high volume of urgent and complex management consultations from banal to life threatening in the short term. Therefore, both the patient and the clinician can benefit greatly from a systematic and protocolized approach. Diagnosis and management The use of risk scales and systematic assessment and in all cases of a series of items is key to exclude or consider risk factors in any patient and to assess the need for admission or urgent action.
