Abstract
As is well known, various articles of the Organic Equality Act 3/2007 call for nonsexist language or the non-sexist use of language in different spheres. However, how this is actually to be developed seems unclear, for the regulation does not specify the practical scope of those requirements. This article sets out the problem and attempts to cast light onto it by availing itself of the options made available by the criteria of literal, historical and teleological interpretations. Additionally, some observations are made which might facilitate progress in the problem area treated here
