Abstract
C. 850 A.D. George, a Palestinian monk, arrived to Córdoba and in al-Andalus was diffused a Christian prophecy of eastern and north african origin, foretelling the inmediate destruction of Muslim power in the World. Both things help to understand better the violet Christian martyrial uprising in Córdoba in 850-859 A.D., as well as its linking to a intented insurrection of all the Christian people in Spain.
