Abstract

In this paper we study the works of silver or Madrid, which are preserved in the Instituto Valencia de Don Juan de Madrid. These were made between the last years of the XVI century and 1888 and are an ensemble of fourteen household pieces, from which half of them are now make public for the first time and in which a huge variety of types and authors can be appreciated. The individual marks of Francisco Narros and Miguel Guilla are identified for he first time, as well as the joint mark of Carlos Muñoz and Pedro Durán Morales, working together.
