Zusammenfassung
We report a case of isolated allergic conjunctivitis after the exposure to oral sulfamethoxazole. The causal relation was probed by the provocation test with drug oral intake. The precise mechanism remains unclear, although and immediate hypersensitivity reaction seems probably. To the best of our knowledge there are no previous reports of isolated immediate-type conjunctivitis after oral sulfamethoxazole.
